Finding Your Roots, One Interesting Example  Like millions of others, many of our ancestors came to America from Europe to have a better life. Some came  from big cities; others from small towns and villages. One such place was Dokshitsy, a small town now in the  Vitebsk Oblast of Belarus and in many ways Dokshitsy was typical of many of the small towns in the region.  Aaron Ginsburg, who lives in Stoughton, is a founder of The Friends of Jewish Dokshitsy, Inc., and he will talk  about the story of this town and its inhabitants. We will accompany him as he works with officials in Belarus to  preserve the memory of this community. Along with Mr. Ginsburg, club member Bob Soffer had relatives in  Dokshitsy and maybe some other club members had relatives from this region of Belarus as well.
