SEPTEMBER CALENDAR
Sept. 5: Some Interesting Facts about Metals. Civilization has come a long way since the Bronze Age and today we use thousands of different metals for electronics, construction, medicine, jewelry and coins just to name a few. Our speaker, Jerry Kerzner, will discuss these various metals, their characteristics, and their uses.
Sept. 12: Famous Monthly Breakfast –no regular meeting this week.
Sept. 19: The History and Development of the Famous P-51 Mustang Fighter. American aviation was crucial to winning WWII, and the P-51 Mustang fighter plane was a key player. Author/aviation historian The NEXUS, September 2023 Page 1 Steve Feinstein will present the inside details of the P-51's story. (Sept. 18 is the 76th anniversary of the Air Force).
Sept. 26: The Eastern Massachusetts Guild of Woodworkers. The website of the Eastern Massachusetts Guild of Woodworkers is dedicated to sharing of information in the art, technique, and business of woodworking. A number of Sharon residents are members of the guild and they will give a presentation about the organization.
