About the event
There remains a common belief that Jewish victims of Nazi genocide did nothing to resist. This presentation seeks to dispel this myth by highlighting the myriad ways some Jews resisted dehumanization and death in ghettos, camps, and in hiding. Resistance was physical, mental, and spiritual in nature, reflecting the strength of individuals, families, and organized resistance groups and this story provides inspiration for addressing today's rising Jew-hatred.
