FALL FOLIAGE DAY TRIP

Eight SMC Members and their spouses/significant others spent a wonderful day traveling to central New Hampshire and Lake Winnepesaukee on a deluxe motorcoach for a day of fun and the wonderful sights of Fall Foliage. We enjoyed what millions of travelers come to New Hampshire for each year, the changing of the season and the magnificent fall foliage that can only be seen in New Hampshire. We arrived in Meredith, NH on the shores of Lake Winnepesaukee for the Turkey Train. ALL ABOARD the dining car to enjoy our Turkey luncheon provided by Hart’s Turkey Farm. Our meal included Roast Turkey, whipped potatoes, bread stuffing, butternut squash, beverage, and an apple cobbler to top it all off. We viewed the foliage as the train road along the shores of the Lake and through wooded areas to take in the fall foliage. During our adventurous day out we made a Mystery Stop that sure  “sweetened our day.” We returned to Sharon with great memories of this fun day out!
